Some dental advice should’ve stayed in 2012 😬

❌ “Brush harder so your teeth get cleaner.”�✅ Aggressive brushing can wear down enamel and irritate your gums. Soft + thorough wins every time.

❌ “If you brush, you don’t really need to floss.”�✅ Your toothbrush can’t reach everything. The spaces between teeth are where a lot of problems start.

❌ “Metal fillings are basically the same thing.”�✅ Dentistry has evolved. Modern restorations are more natural-looking and help preserve more healthy tooth structure.
