We’re excited to grow our clinical team at Wisteria Dental Care.

Our practice is built around thoughtful patient care, whole-body wellness, continued learning, and a team culture that genuinely supports growth.

We’re looking for someone who brings steady energy, curiosity, kindness, and pride in their work. Someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and wants to continue developing their clinical skills in an environment that values both patients and team members.

5 hills I’ll die on as a myofunctional therapist:

1. Open-mouth posture in kids deserves attention early.
2. Tongue ties are not just about breastfeeding.
3. “Picky eating” can sometimes be a function issue, not a behavior issue.
4. Crooked teeth are not always just genetic.
5. Early airway support can change a child’s growth trajectory.

Here’s the thing: kids are incredibly adaptable, but that doesn’t mean we should wait until symptoms become “big enough” to address.

The way a child breathes, rests their tongue, chews, swallows, and sleeps can influence jaw growth, airway development, oral habits, dental alignment, and even how regulated they feel in their body.

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about seeing the signs earlier.

Because when we support function early, we give the body a better foundation to grow from.

If your child sleeps with their mouth open, snores, has restless sleep, struggles with picky eating, has a tongue thrust, or seems to be headed toward orthodontic concerns, it may be time to look deeper.

The mouth tells a story.
We just have to know how to read it.

Comment “AIRWAY” and I’ll send you more information about what to look for.

Nobody warns women that menopause can affect your mouth too. 👀

Dry mouth, bleeding gums, sensitivity, bad breath, cavities… it’s all connected.

Hormones 🤝 oral health.
