Your Year-End Dental Benefits Checklist β
The year is almost over. Have you made the most of your dental insurance? Run through this quick list:
β Had both cleanings this year? Most plans cover two cleanings and exams a year, often at little or no cost to you.
β Finished any recommended treatment? If we suggested a filling, crown, or other care, getting it done before December 31 uses this year's coverage.
β Met your deductible? If you have, treatment before the reset could cost you less out of pocket than waiting until January.
β Know how much of your annual maximum is left? Whatever you don't use this year won't roll over.
β Checked your FSA balance? Those funds often expire at year end, and dental care is an eligible expense.
β Booked your appointment? December fills up fast, so the sooner you book, the better your choice of times.
