What does your toothbrush say about you?
Frayed bristles - With regular use, you should change your toothbrush every 3 months to achieve your best oral hygiene, as your toothbrush bristles should remain stiff and straight.
Worn out bristles - If your bristles get worn out after only a few weeks of use, this means you are brushing too hard. You could be using improper brushing techniques as well. Be sure to use slow circular motions on different quadrants of your teeth.
Tinted red or pink - there’s a good chance your gums are bleeding and you aren’t giving them enough attention regularly. Gingivitis can happen when you don’t brush enough, so if you skip flossing you should work on gum hygiene.
Most importantly - If you’ve been sick, change your toothbrush altogether! The germs that cause you to fall ill will remain on your toothbrush and can cause re-infection.
