Not every smile makeover is “all at once.”
This case was about fixing what needed attention first and planning the rest for later.

We restored the front and left side with custom crowns and implants, giving the patient strength, function, and confidence, while keeping the right side stable until finances allow the next phase.

These photos are 6 months later. Healed, balanced, and still natural.

Not every case is straight-line perfect.
Dr. Khuu extracted hopeless teeth, placed immediate implants and bone grafts that required 6 months to fully heal before final impressions were taken.

We had to send a crown back for a remake when it didn’t seat right and made sure it was right before we could call it done.

Because “almost” isn’t good enough when it comes to your bite.

The final result is strong, clean, and comfortable.

This is one of those cases that really stays with you.

This patient could never wear his upper partial. It just would not stay in, so he eventually stopped using it. Eating became difficult and frustrating, and for years he was basically chewing on just two teeth.

We completed a double full arch implant case on the upper and lower, and the difference was incredible. Not just in how his smile looks, but in how he eats, talks, and lives day to day.

Watching someone go from struggling at every meal to eating comfortably again is honestly the best part of what I do. These cases take time and planning, but seeing the impact on someone’s life makes it completely worth it.

This patient was so uncomfortable with her top denture that she stopped wearing it completely. She came to me because the dental work she had done somewhere else wasn’t working. Her top denture was always loose, and her bottom set of implants (called an All-on-X) didn’t fit right. It hurt her gums, she couldn’t chew well, and only a few teeth on one side of her mouth touched when she bit down.

When we checked everything, we found gum infection, a bite that didn’t line up, problems around her implants, and teeth that didn’t look natural. After careful planning, we decided the best choice was to redo everything with new fixed teeth that stay in place.

The photos help explain why. The old lower bridge design was very hard to clean — food and bacteria got trapped under it, leading to irritation and infection. On the X-ray, you can see another problem: the bridge wasn’t fully seated onto the implant, most likely from an inaccurate impression. When this happens, the implants are put under extra stress, which can cause pain, gum disease, and even implant failure.

In our revision, we made a new All-on-X with a smooth titanium bar and better contours. This makes it much easier to clean, fits perfectly on the implants, and sets her up for a healthy, long-lasting smile.

Now she has brand new teeth that are strong, comfortable, and built the right way.

For decades, this patient lived with an ill-fitting partial denture. Eating was difficult. Smiling was something she avoided.

She wanted a solution that looked natural, not “too perfect” or fake. With her bone structure, the right solution was the All-on-X approach, where implants are placed strategically across the jaw to support a new smile that is stable, functional, and esthetically designed.

Today, she can eat with comfort, speak with confidence, and smile without holding back. What was once her biggest insecurity is now one of her greatest features.
