Kick Off the Week | 8-Unit Maxillary Anterior HT Zirconia 🦷✨
A closer look at an 8-unit maxillary anterior HT zirconia restoration, where optical integration and surface characterization were key considerations.
For multi-unit anterior cases, achieving a natural result goes beyond selecting the correct shade. The restoration must maintain consistent value, chroma, translucency, morphology, and surface texture across the entire anterior segment.
For this case, we used high-translucency zirconia to provide the optical foundation of the restoration, followed by a controlled staining and glazing protocol to refine shade characterization, surface luster, and anatomical details.
The goal was not simply to create a brighter restoration, but to achieve a more controlled interaction with light while maintaining consistency across all eight units.
At VTA Dental, our approach is centered on material science, digital precision, and technician-controlled characterization—because predictable aesthetics start long before the final glaze.
