🎃👻 A SPOOKY DENTAL TRANSFORMATION! 💀🦷

From a cracked, creepy skeleton ☠️ to a smooth, sealed, cavity-free ghost 👻✨!

This old silver filling had a scary surprise lurking beneath it... a broken piece of tooth! 😱 Luckily, we were able to repair the damage and restore the tooth to an even better shape than when our patient came in. Best of all? He left with a smile! 😁

Our office is all dressed up for spooky season at Andrade Dental Family, but beware of broken teeth! 🍬🍫 All those Halloween treats can be tricky on your teeth, and hard candies, nuts, and other crunchy goodies can lead to unexpected dental emergencies.

✨ FAVORITE CASE FRIDAY! ✨

We love cases like this because sometimes a small change can make a BIG difference! 🦷✨

Our patient wanted to improve the look of his smile while going through Invisalign. He has naturally smaller lateral incisors and still has his baby canines because his permanent canines never erupted.

Rather than doing anything aggressive, we took our time and chose conservative esthetic bonding to add a little size and shape, creating a more balanced, natural-looking smile.

He was so happy with the result! ❤️

The orthodontist will continue his Invisalign treatment to fine-tune his bite and tooth position, and we can make small adjustments to the bondings along the way as needed.

We believe great dentistry isn't about rushing to the biggest treatment. It's about listening to what our patients want, taking the time to find the right approach, and doing what is best for their smile and their long-term dental health. 🤍

☀️ Summer may be winding down, but remember to keep smiling! 💕😁

One of our favorite parts of summer? Watching Dr. Andrade do what she loves to do when she is not fixing teeth! 🥎👏🏓🦷

At a recent senior softball league game, the grandkids came ready to cheer on their Grammy… and conveniently discovered the ice cream selection at the snack bar! 🍦😂

They were so excited to learn from Grammy and all of her pickleball buddies, who she plays with every morning. ❤️

Now it’s time to trade flip-flops for backpacks, late nights for early mornings, and summer adventures for a brand-new school year! 🏫 🩴🎒👩‍🏫

🎉 Help us wish Dr. Carly a very Happy Birthday! 🎂🥳

This year, she celebrated by checking off an unforgettable family adventure through some of North America's most breathtaking places. Over the past two weeks, we explored Glacier, Waterton Lakes, Banff, Mount Rainier National Park, and so many incredible stops throughout Montana, Canada, and Washington. From turquoise lakes and towering mountains to unforgettable wildlife encounters and quality family time, this has truly been a trip we'll never forget.

Thank you to all of our wonderful patients for your understanding while we took a short summer break to make these memories together. We're excited to be back in the office soon, refreshed, recharged, and ready to see all of your smiling faces!

Sunday Summer Stroll Down Memory Lane

This patient has been part of the Andrade Dental Family since before she had teeth! We noticed early on that she was born without lateral incisors like her mother. She went through years of orthodontics to move her canine teeth into the lateral position. After she got her braces off we conservatively shaped and bonded the sides of the canine teeth to make them look more square.

Fast forward 10 years, she has graduated from college and stopped wearing her retainers, so some spaces opened up between her front teeth. She came in to get a new retainer to stop her teeth from moving and to start whitening. We decided to add some bonding to fill in the spaces and this was the result! She is thrilled with the look of her smile and promised to wear her retainer and also use it to whiten her teeth!! We love getting to take care of our patients smiles in every season of their life and help them achieve their most healthy beautiful smile goals!!

Think a “small cavity” means a small filling? 👀🦷

Take a close look through these photos.
You’ll see the before, during, and after stages of treatment and how something that looked tiny from the outside actually spread much deeper underneath.

That little dark groove…
That faint shadow around an old silver filling…
That tiny spot hiding between the teeth…

Once we carefully access the area and remove all the weakened, affected tooth structure, the true size of the decay is often much larger than patients expect 😬

That’s because cavities don’t just grow down, they spread underneath the surface where you can’t see or feel them yet. And most small cavities cause absolutely no pain at all.

This is exactly why regular cleanings, exams, and X-rays matter so much ✨
When we catch these areas early, we can preserve more healthy tooth structure and keep treatment smaller, simpler, and more affordable.

When decay is left untreated for years, it can eventually lead to fractures, root canals, crowns, tooth loss, and pain that could have been avoided.
