✨ Check out this incredible Shine Smile! ✨

This sweet patient was one of our very first orthodontic patients at Shine, making this transformation extra special for our team!

She started with significant crowding on both arches, a narrow arch form, a lower tooth that was blocked out beneath the gums, and an excessive overbite.

Using upper and lower braces with rubber bands, we:
🦷 Created the proper space for all of her teeth
🦷 Aligned her smile beautifully
🦷 Guided the blocked-out tooth into its proper position
🦷 Corrected her overbite
🦷 Refined the enamel for a natural, polished finish

And just like that… another beautiful Shine Smile! 🤍

Now there’s only one thing left: retainers! ✨

Timely panoramic X-rays give us a closer look at what’s happening beneath the surface of your child’s smile. 🦷

They can help us identify things that aren’t always visible during a routine exam, including:
• Extra or missing adult teeth
• Teeth developing in the wrong position

Dr. Mike is officially here FULL TIME! 🎉

You can now see Dr. Mike Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–4 PM, and Fridays, 8 AM–1 PM.

Starting this fall, we’ll only be open on the first Friday of each month. 🍂

More availability, more appointments, and more reasons to keep smiling! We’re so excited to have Dr. Mike here with us full time! 💙

🦷 Canker sores can be painful and make eating, drinking, and even talking uncomfortable—but a few simple habits can help!

✨ If your child gets a canker sore, try:
• 💧 Drinking plenty of water
• 🧂 Rinsing with warm salt water
• 🥣 Choosing soft, non-irritating foods
• 🪥 Using a soft-bristled toothbrush
• ❤️ Keeping up with good oral hygiene
• ⏰ Giving the mouth time to heal

🚫 Avoid spicy or citrus foods, crunchy snacks, and picking at the sore.

Most canker sores heal on their own within 1–2 weeks. If a sore is unusually large, very painful, keeps coming back, or isn’t healing, reach out to your dentist.
