It’s going to be gloomy for the staff and many patients today. One of our long time Dental Hygienists, Kylee, has decided to hang her scrubs up and venture into a new career. Although we are very happy for our friend and co-worker, we are all extremely sad to see her go. She has been such an asset to Oral Health Associates and such a joy for the last (almost) 16 years.
She was the hidden hero all those years ago, as all three Dental Hygienists were pregnant and due around the same time. A young woman from Indiana that just relocated to Tennessee was looking for a job and was hired to save the schedule for the next several months and we didn’t let her leave!
On a personal note, I’m not just speaking for myself but for our entire office when I say it has been a pleasure having her friendship and being part of the Oral Health Associates family. As in any work environment, especially one like our’s, you are closely working with each other for 8 hours a day and you share more of your time with those people than you do your spouses and children. You become family and as we hate to see a family member move on, we are so happy for her and her new work adventure.
We love you, Kylee!
