Woods orthodontics is happy to be open and seeing our patients once again. We have missed all of you!
COVID-19 is in the news everywhere, and we continue to monitor the situation. We鈥檙e reaching out to assure you that you are safe at Woods Orthodontics. We are all looking forward to returning to our normal routines and daily lives. While many things have changed over the past months, one things remains the same, our commitment to you, your safety and smile. As has always been a daily standard of practice, safety is a priority focus. Cleanliness and safety precautions are taken as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. However, we are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team with the following additional protocols:
New Safety Protocols:
Our ability to reopen is only possible with strict adherence to the regulations set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and state issued guidelines. Again, the health and wellness of our staff, patients, and families has always been our top priority, so during this time we are strengthening our safety and infection control protocols to help contain the spread of COVID-19. You will see some changes at your next appointment. These changes have been made to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.
What to expect:
路 Patients please thoroughly brush your teeth at home prior to your appointment.
路 Upon arrival for your appt, please check in with our staff at the front door. Patients will need to complete a health questionnaire at check-in for your appointment. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for check-in (to complete required health forms)
路 Temperatures will be taken at check-in. If a patient presents with a temperature of 99.6 or higher, their appointment will be rescheduled to another day.
路 Once you have checked in you will be asked to return to your vehicle briefly until a staff member is available to es**rt you into the clinic for your appointment.
路 At the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and provided a mouth pre-rinse solution before being seated in the dental chair.
路 Our restrooms, waiting areas and brushing stations will remain closed as of this time. We ask that you use the restroom before you leave home for your appointment.
路 During this time, we ask that patients only enter into the clinic for appointments.
**New patient consults**
In accordance with state issued guidelines for operation, beginning 05/29/20, one parent will be permitted in the office for Initial Consult appointments.
Both the parent/guardian and new patient will have their temperature taken upon arrival, will be asked to use hand sanitizer that we will have available for you, and will be asked to wear a mask while in our office - please wear your own, if possible. A mask will be provided for you if you do not have one.
You can be assured safety measures at Woods Orthodontics will continue to evolve as more information develops.
