This patient chipped his central incisors years ago, and the wear continued to worsen over time. When he was ready to restore his smile, we used composite resin, creating a natural shape and excellent color match.

Our 8:30 AM patient heard that Dr. O and Betsy hadn’t eaten breakfast yet, and after her appointment she stopped by Chick-fil-A and brought back a Chicken Minis tray for the entire office staff!! 🐔🥐

Dr. Karriker & Dr. Olar spent the weekend with the Spartanburg County Dental Society diving into full arch digital workflow & interdisciplinary esthetic dentistry with Dr. Kim.
A tour of the ZimVie Institute gave us a behind-the-scenes look at how much precision and innovation goes into dental implants!
A HUGE thank you to Dr. Laura Summers, Dr. Kevin Schwartzman, and the entire team at Upstate Oral Surgery for planning such an outstanding and educational weekend. We’re grateful for the opportunity and excited to bring this knowledge back to our patients! 😊

Out with the old, in with the natural ✨

After 50 years, these crowns had done their job—but time (and recession) revealed metal margins and a less-than-ideal shade, especially with underlying tetracycline staining.
We refreshed the smile with whitening and replaced the crowns on #8 and #9 with modern zirconia for a clean, natural blend.
Patient will continue whitening and begin whitening the lower teeth to further enhance the overall result.

Same smile—just elevated.

Big smile transformation ✨
Patient came in with fractures on the front teeth ( #8 & #9) and decay close to the nerve—but no pain. We were able to conservatively treat with indirect pulp caps and restore everything using composite resin.
Now the tissue can heal with a smooth, cleansable restoration—and the smile looks as good as it feels 😁
