We are beyond ecstatic to announce that we have resumed seeing patients in accordance with the Alabama Board of Dental Examiners recommendations.
Our office has always followed the infection control procedures set forth by the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Alabama Department of Public Health, U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. We will continue with the new COVID-19 protocols.
We have implemented several changes in order to protect both our patients and staff during these unprecedented times. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
• We will not be able to accommodate the same number of patients as in the past in order to adhere with social distancing recommendations.
•Please thoroughly brush your teeth BEFORE coming to your appointment as our in office brush station is closed at this time.
• Our waiting room will be closed to all patients.
• Upon your arrival to our office, remain in your vehicle and call (256) 467-4758. You will be greeted by someone from our team, asked the screening questions, and the patient’s temperature will be taken. If temperature is 100.4 or higher, or you present with any symptoms, you will be rescheduled.
•If this is a new patient exam, one guardian must accompany the patient. We ask the guardian to bring a mask and wear it upon arrival.
• For routine orthodontic visits, only the scheduled patient may enter the office.
• You will be asked to use hand sanitizer prior to entering treatment areas. You will also be asked to rinse with a peroxide solution before being seated.
• You will notice that our staff will be wearing additional PPE. We look a little funny.....Darth Vader comes to mind! 😁
•We will continue to provide you with excellent orthodontic care!
We are thrilled to see you soon!
