To be a candidate for All - On - X implant + Bridge or Denture surgeries, you must be evaluated by your general dentist first and ensure all remaining teeth are non-restorable. We will then peform a medical history review, do a clinical exam, a CBCT study of your bone and surrounding anatomy to precisely plan the placement of the implants and using photogrammetry technology for best balance of forces when you chew and speak.

Wisdom Teeth are the very last teeth to erupt during your teenage years. Most of the time, they get stuck due to lack of space and can cause pressure, pain, food trapping leading to bad breath and cavities on adjacent teeth, cystic or tumor formation from the follicle, abscess and infection, affect the way you bite (occlusion) and shifting.
Most of our jaws are too small for wisdom teeth to grow in nice and straight. To avoid problems, the very best time to extract wisdom teeth in your teenage years when the roots are not fully formed (so far away from the nerve), there is no pain or infection (so you have a quicker recovery) and your jaw bone is softer (quicker recovery). It is about 3-4 days worth of chipmunk swelling and soreness (pain medication prescribed), but otherwise that you can return to your activities the next day.
The best advice we can give is to do it early (teenage years), do it during your school breaks (to avoid missing out on important activities later on!) and while your under you're parents care (for a little TLC and guaranteed mac & cheese, icecream dishes on demand).
