Somos Amigos Medical Mission is a dedicated organization committed to providing high-quality, reliable healthcare services to remote mountain communities in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Mike has participated in other dental missions twice—once prior to dental school and again during his dental studies. These experiences opened his eyes to the challenges of accessing healthcare in rural areas, motivating us to assist communities with limited resources. It was an extraordinary experience, marked by the gratitude expressed by all community members.

Initially, when Dr. Mike applied to dental school, he aimed to become a general dentist. However, after working with children during a dental mission in Mexico and witnessing their happiness and comfort, he recognized the importance of pediatric dentistry. The meaningful impact he made on children's lives inspired him to pursue a specialization in pediatric dentistry.

As Mikey, Dr. Mike's son begins his journey in the dental field, Dr. Mike is eager to share this powerful journey with him—to help Mikey see firsthand the impact he can have, and to inspire a lifelong dedication to helping those in need.

We will keep you updated on this exciting journey. Stay tuned!
