Dr. Michaelides is a Board Certified Periodontist with over thirty years of experience. He taught Graduate Periodontics at the U.S.C. School of Dentistry and was the president of the Fresno Madera Dental Society. He was the director of the International Team for Implantology Fresno study club and has placed more than 1700 dental implants. He treats periodontal diseases of teeth and dental implants

with minimally invasive procedures and oral conscious sedation to reduce patient stress and postoperative pain. His philosophy is to save diseased teeth and implants and to avoid extractions if at all possible.
