We have officially reopened!!! We can’t wait to see your smiling faces again! 😁🦷🌞

In light of Covid, we have adopted a new set of protocols for the office:

- When confirming your appointment, our team will be going through a Covid questionnaire with you.

- We are allowing more time for appointments and in between patients to account for our new protocols.

- When you arrive to your appointment, please stay in your car and call or text our office. One of our team members will meet you at the front door and do a temperature check as well as a Covid symptom check.

- In line with the county ordinance, we ask that you arrive and leave your appointment with a face mask/covering.

- You will notice that our team will be wearing more personal protective equipment (PPE) than you are used to. We will be equipped with gowns, gloves, face shields, goggles, and N95 masks.

- We have a pre-procedural hydrogen peroxide rinse available for patients.

- Hand sanitizer is readily available for both patients and the team.

- We are adding medical grade air purifiers throughout the office as well as a high intensity suction system to capture aerosols generated during procedures.

- As we try to incorporate social distancing into our practice, we ask that you come to your appointment alone if at all possible and request only one parent/guardian to accompany our child patients.

Dear Patients,

In an effort to protect our community, "flatten the curve", and redirect the supply chain of medical supplies to hospitals in need, the office will be closed through April 7th per the guidelines of the American Dental Association.

As this situation is extremely fluid, we will be keeping abreast of developments within the Department of Public Health, CDC, and state/national dental associations and update you accordingly. Due to recent coronavirus concerns, we want to take a moment to connect with you regarding health and safety at our office.

We want to assure you that our office maintains the utmost standards in infection control and sterilization procedures.

All instruments are sterilized in an autoclave, killing bacteria and viruses. We use disposable barriers in all treatment rooms as well as personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, gowns) that are changed with each patient. All treatment rooms, equipment and work surfaces are wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant after each patient which kills not only coronavirus but hepatitis, HIV, and tuberculosis as well. We wipe down our waiting room, chairs, tables and door k***s several times a day as well.

As a small, private practice that single books patients, we have short wait times and rarely have more than 1-2 patients in our office at a time. We have hand sanitizer available for patients and all employees are trained in maintaining hand hygiene and infection control standards. You can rest assured that we are following all standards and protocols for infection control and that we will do everything possible to keep you and your family safe.

In order to protect our patients, employees and the general public, we are asking any patients who are showing signs and symptoms of respiratory illness, fever, those that have recently traveled, and those who have been in contact with a person with coronavirus to reschedule their appointments. If you are uncertain as to whether you should keep your appointment, please call our office at (510) 796-0313 or email us at [email protected]. Our office will be waiving all last minute cancellation fees at this time.

Should we suspect exposure to our team, we will also keep staff at home or close the office as needed. We appreciate your patience during this time as we all work together to protect the health of our community.
