This past weekend Dr Eadie joined some of his Marquette University School of Dentistry classmates to celebrate their 20 year reunion. Twenty years of treating and caring for patients is something to celebrate!

Marquette helped shaped all of these dentist to be kind, honest, and compassionate. Truly a remarkable group of doctors.

With the recent growing number of COVID cases in the Chicago area, Dr Eadie has added more layers of protection.

This week we installed a portable UVC lamp that will be used in between patients and overnight. UV light has been used as a disinfectant and kills more than 99.9% of airborne viruses - many hospitals & surgical rooms use UV lights.

You might have heard in the news that UVC technologies have been used to disinfect and reuse N-95 masks during this pandemic. The same technology will be used at The Northshore Dentist to disinfect treatment rooms, waiting area, and bathrooms.

On your next visit you might see our UVC light machine from Sterilize Center that we will be using in between patients and overnight. While it will be off when there are people around, you can be assured that it will be working hard to disinfect the entire office, to provide the safest environment for everyone.

"Recently my daughter had a chipped tooth by accident and after much searching for a cosmetic dentist found Dr. Jeff Eadie willing to bond the tooth even on a weekend. He stayed back a bit late on a Saturday to take the time and finish the procedure alone without an assistant during these covid times. He explained the procedure and was very conservative on the tooth he was going to bond. It was a very pleasant experience to visit a dentist who respects his own profession and knows how to do his part as a dentist. After having had too many bad experiences with dentists who just wants to buy a yacht - Dr. Jeff Eadie was a very pleasant surprise. Thanks Dr. Eadie."
