Many people think a root canal simply “takes the pain away.” In reality, the real goal is much bigger—to allow the body to heal.

This X-ray shows a tooth that had a significant infection around the roots (the dark area surrounding the root tips). That dark area represents bone that was destroyed by bacteria escaping from the infected nerve inside the tooth.

After a properly performed root canal:

✔️ The infected tissue inside the tooth is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
✔️ The root canal system is carefully shaped while preserving the natural anatomy.
✔️ The canals are sealed to prevent bacteria from returning.

Once the source of the infection is eliminated, something remarkable happens…

Your own immune system does the rest. Over the following months, the inflammation resolves and the body gradually regenerates healthy bone. At the one-year follow-up, the lesion has completely healed, and the surrounding bone has returned.

Healing like this isn’t simply a matter of “doing a root canal.” Success depends on many factors, including:

• Careful diagnosis
• Understanding complex root canal anatomy
• Thorough cleaning and disinfection
• Precise shaping and sealing of the canals
• A well-sealed final restoration

Technique matters. Attention to detail matters. Every millimeter matters.

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a tooth that once had a significant infection become healthy and functional again—allowing a patient to keep their natural tooth for years to come.

Saving natural teeth is always worth the effort.

I came here in 1991 with nothing. This country gave me everything.

Grateful isn’t a strong enough word. 🇺🇸

Happy 250th, America ❤️

Still #1. Still leading.
Still the greatest country on earth. Let’s keep it that way.

MY patients today : “Rimma, you’re so patriotic.” I wasn’t born in this country, so I don’t take anything for granted. The more I travel the world, the more I feel it — proud to be an American.
God bless the USA 🇺🇸

When a patient tells me their root canal didn’t hurt — that’s the moment. Every time. 😊

I know what people think when they hear “root canal.” The fear is real, and I get it. So when someone looks at me after and says “that’s it? that didn’t hurt at all?” — that’s not just a compliment, that’s why I do this.

Painless root canals aren’t luck. It’s technique, it’s caring about your comfort, it’s taking the time to do it right.

If you’ve been putting off a root canal because you’re scared — don’t be. Come see us. Let’s change your mind about what this procedure actually feels like.

Proud to be American 🇺🇸

My parents left everything behind so I could grow up free. Not free “someday.” Not free “if things work out.” Free now, in America, no asterisks. Free from antisemitism mostly.

I didn’t inherit this country. I earned my way into it.

People born here sometimes forget what a miracle this is. I never do. I remember standing in line for basics. I remember what it’s like to not have a choice.

This 4th of July I’m not just grilling and watching fireworks. I’m celebrating a country that let a Jewish refugee from former Soviet Union become “Dr.” in front of her name.

God bless America. 🦷🇺🇸

✨ Smile transformations like this are why I love what I do. ✨

This patient came to me with severely broken, decayed, and missing front teeth that made it difficult to smile with confidence.

With careful treatment planning, attention to detail, and a commitment to preserving both function and esthetics, we completely transformed this smile into one that looks natural, healthy, and confident.

Every case is different, but my goal is always the same:
🦷 Restore health.
😁 Rebuild confidence.
❤️ Change lives—one smile at a time.

Seeing a patient smile again is the most rewarding part of being a dentist.

Swipe to see the incredible before-and-after transformation!

If you’ve been hiding your smile because of broken, worn, or damaged teeth, know that there are often solutions you may not have thought possible.

Stop scrolling if you have white spots on your teeth. 🛑🦷

Just did this on a patient — 2 front teeth, no drilling, no numbing, no pain. Just painting.

It's ’alled ICON resin infiltration. We paint resin onto the white/brown spot and it soaks into the enamel, blending it away. No drill. No shot. 30 minutes, done.

She walked in hiding her smile in photos. Walked out not hiding anymore.

Not every spot qualifies — but when it does, it's magic.

People think dentistry is about teeth.

It’s not.

It’s about the moment someone finally feels okay letting the world see them smile again.

After everything they’ve been through — they deserve that moment.
