A Message to Our Patients and Community
It is with a heavy heart that I share some personal news with our patients and our community.
My father-in-law, Dr. Burl Hand, the founder of this dental practice, passed away on Thursday morning, August 20th, at home surrounded by his family.
For many of you, Dr. Burl Hand was not simply your dentist. He was a familiar face, a trusted healthcare provider, a friend, and a part of your family’s life. For decades, he had the privilege of caring for generations of families in our community, and the relationships he built with his patients meant so much to him.
Seven years ago, I had the honor of taking over the practice he built. Since then, I have had the privilege of caring for many of the patients he first welcomed into this office. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the opportunity to continue the legacy he created.
I know that many of you have your own stories and memories of Dr. Burl Hand. If you would like to share a memory, we have placed a Memory Box in the foyer of the office, and we would be honored if you would leave a note or card there. These messages will be collected and shared with our family, and they will mean a great deal to us.
Thank you for allowing me to share this with you, and thank you for the kindness, support, and trust you have shown our family and our practice.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Dr. Denise Hand
