Here’s the truth: both can be effective at keeping your teeth clean. Electric toothbrushes can help people brush for the full two minutes and maintain consistent motion, which is why many dentists recommend them. But a manual toothbrush can work just as well when you use the right technique.

Today we’re celebrating the team that keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes (and right at the front, too).

When you walk into Blue Bird Dentistry, two of the first smiling faces you see are Lama and Kim, our incredible front desk administrators. From scheduling appointments and navigating insurance to answering questions and making every patient feel welcome, they are the heartbeat of our day-to-day.

They keep things organized, calm, and running smoothly, and we truly couldn’t do it without them.

Short answer: yes… but maybe not in the way you think. The most important thing to look for in a toothpaste is fluoride. 🦷🪥
 
Fluoride helps strengthen enamel, prevent cavities, and protect your teeth from daily wear caused by food, drinks, and bacteria.
 
Beyond that, the “best” toothpaste really depends on your needs. Some are formulated for sensitivity, some focus on tartar control, and others help with whitening. But no matter the brand, the real key is brushing properly and consistently. Even the fanciest toothpaste can’t make up for rushed brushing or skipping your routine.
 
When in doubt, ask your dentist what they recommend for your specific smile.✨
