Both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry state children should visit a pediatric dentist six months after their first tooth erupts or by their first birthday. Preventative care should start early to ensure children have a lifetime of oral health. We accept WV Molina, WV Scion, Aetna Better Health of PA, Maryland Healthy Smiles and most insurance plans. Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick and Smile Frederick Orthodontics were delighted to be a part of Frederick County’s annual Kids Expo event, organized by The Frederick News Post. This year, our staff had the pleasure of meeting nearly 300 children and adults who visited our tables. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting new families and distributing toothbrush goodie bags, t-shirts, and toys as prizes for scoring on our basketball hoop and toss game. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful Frederick community for their invaluable contributions in making such events possible.
