Today we’re celebrating the teachers who educate, encourage, inspire, and somehow manage to answer the same question more than once with a smile. 😁

Teachers have an incredible impact that reaches far beyond the classroom. They help build confidence, spark curiosity, and shape the people we become—and that’s definitely something worth smiling about!

To all the teachers in our community: thank you for everything you do. We appreciate your patience, dedication, creativity, and the countless ways you make a difference every day. 💙

And since we’re a dental office, we have to give you a little extra credit for reminding those kiddos to brush their teeth! 🦷✨

Years ago, Spencer spent time in our office shadowing Dr. Somerville, getting a firsthand look at dentistry beyond the classroom. Today, he’s taken a pretty big step from that “Shadow” name tag—he’s in dental school himself! 🎓
And in a fun full-circle moment, Spencer is earning his dental degree at Dr. Levy’s alma mater!

We love giving future dental professionals the opportunity to experience the field firsthand—and it’s even better when we get to watch where those experiences take them.

From shadowing a dentist to becoming one…we’d say that’s a pretty good glow-up. 😉

🏆 What Makes Us Best of the Best? Helping Grow the Next Generation of Dental Professionals!

We don’t just love dentistry—we love sharing it! 🦷

Over the years, we’ve welcomed students and future dental professionals into our practice for externships and shadowing opportunities, giving them a chance to step out of the classroom and see what dentistry is really like.

They get to observe our clinicians, experience the day-to-day workings of a dental practice, ask lots of questions, and get a feel for the hands-on side of the profession. And who knows—we may even help inspire a future dentist, hygienist, or dental assistant along the way! 💙

🏆 What Makes Us Best of the Best? Growing to Better Serve You!

This year, we purchased a 3D scanner to enable us to offer procedures that require detailed 3D xrays. In the spirit of “if you build it, they will come,” we were able to welcome Dr. Kevin Ross into our team, because many surgical procedures he performs require that equipment.

Dr. Ross performs complex tooth extractions and has also allowed us to expand our in-office services to include dental implants and root canal treatment. He uses his own specialized endodontic microscope for enhanced precision. Dr. Ross has also introduced bone grafting and collagen plugs to our practice, giving us more options to support healing and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Being able to provide more comprehensive care right here in our office means fewer referrals and more treatment from the team you already know and trust. 🦷💙

🏆 What Makes Us Best of the Best? Meeting Patients Where They Are.

Dental care isn’t one-size-fits-all. For some patients, simply sitting in the dental chair can be a major obstacle to getting the care they need.

In case you’re not aware, we’re excited to be back in the operating room! Dr. Hailemelecot is treating patients at Maryland Sedation Dentistry on TJ Drive, which is a simpler process than getting into our hospital waiting list. We continue to see patients at MMC and FHH operating rooms, with Dr. H at the helm!

OR dentistry allows us to care for patients with severe dental anxiety, special needs, or extensive treatment needs who may benefit from completing their dental work under sedation.

It’s just one of the ways our team works to make quality dental care accessible to every patient who walks through our doors. 💙
