We are SO excited to announce that Dr. Hai will be joining the FPD family starting November 2nd!🎉

We are incredibly happy that Dr. Hai has chosen to become a part of Frederick Pediatric Dentistry and help us continue providing the exceptional care our patients and families deserve. We can’t wait for you all to meet him!

Background and Education 📚✏️

Originally from Vietnam, Dr. Hai moved to Central Pennsylvania at the age of three. He attended The Pennsylvania State University at University Park, where he earned his degree in Biology with a focus in Anatomy. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he served as President of the Pediatric Dentistry Club and received the AAPD Pre-Doctoral Award in recognition of his dedication to pediatric dentistry. 🎓📓📝

Residency and Special Training 🦷🥼

Dr. Hai completed his advanced education in pediatric dentistry at Stony Brook University, where he trained in a Level 1 trauma hospital environment and developed extensive experience managing pediatric dental emergencies of varying complexity. His comprehensive training included a special focus on operating room dentistry under general anesthesia and caring for children with special healthcare needs, providing him with the skills to treat patients who may require additional support or specialized care. ✨

Professional Interests 🧠🧐

Dr. Hai is passionate about expanding access to operating room dentistry for children who are anxious or fearful of the dentist, have difficulty cooperating during treatment, or have special healthcare needs. He is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care while helping every child and family feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their dental experience. 💙

Home Life 🏠

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hai enjoys playing video games 🎮, baking 🧁, watching anime 📺, and collecting Pokémon cards. He is also learning to fish 🎣 and practice archery 🏹. He is fluent in Vietnamese and enjoys exploring new hobbies and spending time with family and friends.

From being our marketing mastermind to making sure every patient and parent leaves with a smile on their face, she is an essential part of our team. She’s the creative mind behind all the funny TikTok ideas that pop up on your screen, as well as the driving force behind our other social media platforms.

Dr. Mike is not only a doctor and the owner of Frederick Pediatric Dentistry, but he is someone who truly puts his heart into everything he does. His incredible work ethic and dedication to patient care are just a few of the many things that make him so special.

Dr. Mike makes it his mission to ensure every child who walks through our doors feels welcomed, supported, and, most importantly, VALUED. He goes above and beyond to make sure every kiddo receives the dental care they deserve. Whether it’s helping a nervous child feel comfortable, turning fear into excitement, encouraging a little one through treatment, or simply taking the time to communicate with both patients and parents, Dr. Mike never gives up on a patient. His patience, compassion, and genuine connection with his patients are a huge part of why so many of our FPD families love him! 🥰🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

While he is an AMAZING dentist, he is also an even more amazing boss. Dr. Mike truly treats his team like family. Tri-State Kids Expo 2026! 🎉⚾️

What an AWESOME day at Meritus Park! Frederick Pediatric Dentistry was SO excited to join in on the fun at this year’s Tri-State Kids Expo!💙✨

We loved getting out of the office and into the community to meet so many amazing families! It was extra special getting to see some of our current FPD families and make new connections with families who may be joining FPD in the future. 🥰🦷
