Dr. Walt Franke and Dr. Chelsea Guzzo are members in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Resort District Dental Association. In addition, our doctors and staff take numerous continuing education classes in a variety of subjects in dentistry, which helps to keep us up to date with the latest and greatest technology in the field! Our dental office has a rich history as the oldest one that is still active in Benzie County. The office was started by Dr. Pate in the 1930s, and was subsequently taken over by Dr. Manz in the 1980s, before Dr. Bieszka ran it in the late '80s and early 1990s. As a husband and wife duo, the Dr. Walt and Dr. Jana Franke bought the downtown Frankfort practice in 1994 and relocated it to a new facility in 1996 at the top of the hill. Dr. Chelsea Guzzo joined the practice in 2016, and in 2018 we became Third Coast Dental Group. Dr. Jana retired from clinical dentistry in 2020, but remains deeply involved with the practice. Dr. Walt and Dr. Chelsea continue the great tradition of providing outstanding dental care and patient service in Frankfort.
