Here, Tina is capturing a detailed digital impression using our DEXIS intraoral scanner an important step in our implant planning process.

The scan creates a highly accurate 3D model of the patient’s teeth and mouth. We use this digital information as part of our planning with X-Nav technology, allowing us to create a customized clip that fits securely in the patient’s mouth and helps prepare for navigated implant placement.

The process looks something like this:

3D intraoral scan → Digital planning → Custom X-Nav clip → Navigated implant placement

By combining digital scanning with advanced implant navigation, we can plan treatment with incredible precision while creating a more streamlined experience for our patients.
