Dr. Chi Bui is a board-certified specialist in orthodontics for children & adults serving areas in and near Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.

Our office offers a variety of braces (metal, clear, and lingual) as well as Invisalign clear aligners. Complimentary virtual and in-office consultations for braces, clear aligners, and other services (such as mouthguards, TMJ problems, sleep apnea).

We were thrilled to host a full house of local dental professionals, from general dentists to all specialists, at our study club meeting. It was a privilege for Dr. Mary Um and me to share the stage to present on the latest principles, techniques, and clinical insights on managing dental trauma.
The collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence in the room were a powerful reminder of why we founded this study club 16 years ago. At The OrthoBee, we believe that interdisciplinary learning is the key to superior patient care. Today is World Orthodontic Health Day, and since it falls during Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to share something close to our hearts.

The 2026 Mental Health theme is “More Good Days, Together.” We’ve been incredibly moved by the many patients navigating mental health journeys, including those managing bipolar disorder, who have shared that their visits to our office are a bright spot in their month.

They’ve told us they look forward to seeing us because, even on the difficult days, working toward a better smile gives them a sense of progress, self-care, and hope for the future. 💛

Orthodontics is about more than just moving teeth; it’s about the transformation that happens when someone begins to feel confident again. We are so honored that you trust us to be a supportive part of your journey toward health, both inside and out.

🌸Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who nurture, inspire, and lead!

Today, I’m reflecting on the powerful influence of the women who shape our lives. I am especially grateful for my own mom, who has been my ultimate role model for both professional success and personal character.

In my career, she showed me what it looks like to lead with dedication and vision. But more importantly, she taught me that being a “good person” is the foundation of everything else by showing kindness, staying grounded, and always putting heart into what you do.

Waltzing my way through the AAO annual conference like nobody was watching.
Minimal sleep? Yes. Maximum food? Yup! A few extra pounds may have followed me home, but so did new ideas, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of inspiration for the OrthoBee hive.
Thank you, American Association of Orthodontists, for some incredible days of learning, laughter and fun! I’m so grateful to be a part of this profession.
Between learning from some of the best minds in orthodontics, catching up with amazing friends and colleagues, making new connections, and ending the week at Universal Studios playing like kids again…this conference was one for the books!

It’s not just about straight teeth; it’s about function, balance, and long-term health.
This shows how correcting the bite can completely change a smile (and confidence). The chipped tooth was conservatively restored after orthodontic treatment brought it into the ideal position. Gum tissue health improved with better access to brushing and flossing.
