Last night, the City Council honored Dr. Brian Lee and Dr. Jonathon Lee with a proclamation in recognition of their retirement from their distinguished careers as pediatric dentists and orthodontists.

Foster City thanks them for their many years of dedication, compassionate care, professional leadership, and meaningful contributions to the health and well-being of our community’s children and families. We wish them a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement.

Happy New Year 2026!

Since 1972, when our practice first opened and then subsequently in 2000, when my father- Dr Brian Lee and I began to practice together, it’s been one of the greatest honors of our lives to care for the Bay Area community and work alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team. We are incredibly grateful for the relationships built over the years and the trust you’ve placed in us.

After many rewarding years of practicing dentistry, my father and I have decided that the time is right to step away from the clinical side of the practice on December 31, 2025, our last day seeing patients, but we want to emphasize that we are not saying goodbye—we will still be involved in supporting the practice behind the scenes and helping ensure a smooth transition in the months ahead.

We are also pleased to share that our partner, Dr. Christian Yee, will assume the lead clinical role. Dr. Yee has been a vital part of our practice for years and shares the same commitment to exceptional care, professionalism, and patient comfort that have always been at the heart of our mission.

This transition has been carefully planned, and we have complete confidence that our patients and staff are in excellent hands. We will remain actively involved in an administrative capacity to support the team and the practice’s continued success.

Thank you all for being such an essential part of this journey. It has been fun treating generations of Foster City Children! We are excited for this next chapter and deeply thankful for your continued trust and support.

You are a Foster City Old Schooler when Dr Lee was your Little League Coach on the Raniers or Sponsored Your Team and John Froomin, Tommy Gee and Ricky DuPont were one of your Team Mates! Pops and I are at Foster City Youth Softball’s Orientation.

After the class, he was able to squeeze in a trip to TrainTown with his children Hannah and Shane! 🚂

Not Jeff’s problem anymore!!! 🐱 After 35 years of the Happy Healthy Teeth family, we say a bittersweet goodbye to Jeff 🥹❤️ he is finally retiring. It is much deserved, and we hope nothing but rest and relaxation for this new journey.
