Meet The Polished Family Dental Team: Meet Dr. Cook 🦷
Clayton Cook was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah, and comes from a large family – he is the 5th of 6 children. He attended Mountain Crest High school in Hyrum, Utah while he was in high school he was actually a state champion in Football. In high school Dr. Cook met his best friend, Kallee, who is now his wife. After graduating from high school, he worked in the Dallas area for a short time and fell in love with Texas. He left Texas to serve a 2 year Christian mission in Hiroshima, Japan. Shortly after returning, he married his wife, and they’ve been married for 21 years and have 6 beautiful children. Dr. Cook graduated from Utah State University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Japanese. He attended dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Cook pursued dentistry because he enjoys working with people and taking care of their needs in an empathetic and compassionate manner. Dentistry is a natural fit for him and it is a great balance of hard work and making a real difference in people’s lives. In his spare time, Dr. Cook enjoys hiking, playing sports of all kinds, specifically basketball which has been his favorite since he was 5, reading, surfing which he did with his son Jared, and a recent hobby of his is downhill mountain biking. Dr. Cook enjoys traveling and a few of his favorite trips are going snow skiing in Park City, Telluride, or Taos. Overall, Dr. Cook is always up for an adventure and enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys living in Texas and working in our Fort Worth and Glen Rose offices, where he enjoys making a difference in people’s lives. Currently, his two oldest children are serving Christian missions for a couple of years—his daughter is in Zimbabwe and his son is in Turkey. He is a proud father and cherishes his children and who they are.
