Meet the Team: Dr. Glen Petta
Dr. Glen Petta grew up in Fort Worth and attended Paschal High School where he played basketball and football. He completed his undergraduate education at Texas Christian University on an academic scholarship and attended Baylor Dental School in Dallas, graduating in 1980. During his time in Dental School, Dr. Petta opened and managed a Dallas restaurant that further expanded to four locations. He continued in the restaurant business for 25 years while actively practicing dentistry. Dr. Petta returned to Fort Worth and bought into the practice of William F. Wathen, DMD, where he practiced for 33 years. The office opened a satellite office in Aledo which they later sold. Dr Petta left his practice in 2010 to lead a Christian international mission agency for 12 years. He led and trained over 150 mission teams all over the world. During that time, he continued to practice part time while not on missions. He has been very active in International missions. He is a life member of the American Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, and Fort
Worth District Dental Society. Dr Petta and his wife of 48 years, Debbie, have two sons. Andrew, a priest, is married to Michelle, and they have two daughters, Chloe and Claire. Philip works in finance and accounting for a rail company.
