Early Monday morning, JPS Health Network identified suspicious activity within our technology environment. To isolate and secure the environment, we made the decision to take our network systems down using a controlled network downtime.
Our IT teams continue to work diligently to resolve the downtime. At the same time, our clinicians and staff remain fully engaged in caring for our patients and are using established downtime procedures to continue providing care. We apologize for the disruption this downtime has caused.
Restoring our technology environment safely is careful, methodical work that takes time. Based on our current assessment, we expect to remain under downtime procedures for the next several days.
Our focus remains firmly on our patients during this time. Clinical leaders are continually evaluating services using established quality checks, clinical protocols and operational assessments. Some services may be temporarily paused, adjusted or moved based on our ability to provide care safely. Every decision is being made with safe, high-quality patient care at the forefront.
Patients should keep scheduled appointments unless contacted directly by their JPS care team. We understand the importance of timely healthcare, including access to medications.
