The million-dollar question is….“Can I use a Waterpik instead of flossing?” 👀

The answer? Kind of — but there’s a bit more to it! While we love a Waterpik, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s time to toss the string floss, just yet!

A Waterpik can be great for flushing out food and debris from between your teeth and along the gumline, and it can be especially helpful for braces, bridges, implants, or anyone who finds traditional flossing difficult.

However, string floss still has one very important advantage: it physically wipes plaque from the sides of your teeth — something a stream of water may not completely accomplish on its own!

So, Waterpik or floss? We’re not necessarily picking sides 😉 If you can use both, you’re certainly getting the benefits of each. But when it comes down to it, the best flossing routine is the one you’ll actually do consistently! 🤍✨🦷
