October is Orthodontic Health Month! 🦷💙

Having braces or an orthodontic appliance is about more than creating a beautiful smile. The little things you do every day can make a big difference in keeping your treatment on track.

5 simple ways to take care of your orthodontic health:

🪥 Brush well
Take your time around brackets, wires and along the gumline.

🦷 Don’t skip flossing
Food and plaque can hide in places your toothbrush can’t reach.

🍎 Choose braces-friendly foods
Hard, sticky and chewy foods can damage brackets and wires.

🪢 Wear your elastics as directed
Those little rubber bands can play a big role in your treatment.

📅 Keep your appointments
Regular visits help us monitor your progress and make adjustments when needed.

Your daily habits + your orthodontic team = a healthier smile! 💙

Which one of these is the hardest for you to remember? 👇

So go ahead… share a smile, give a compliment, or do something kind for someone today. You never know whose day you might brighten! 😊
