We're hiring for Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Position Type: Full-Time
Experience: Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Are you energetic, compassionate, and passionate about helping children feel confident about their smiles? Our growing pediatric dental practice is looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our friendly, high-performing team!
What You’ll Do
• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures, including cleanings and restorative care
• Create a positive, comforting experience for children and families
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Set up and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, and uphold the highest infection-control standards
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and treatment plans
• Support front-office duties as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
What We’re Looking For
• Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
• Pediatric dental experience or a strong desire to work with children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm, upbeat, and encouraging with young patients
• Dependability, professionalism, and a patient-first mindset
