Tartar is hardened plaque that can cause bad breath, yellow or brown stains on teeth, and gum disease. Brushing twice a day and flossing once a day can help prevent tartar buildup, but only a dentist can remove it once it forms. That’s why it’s so important to have your teeth professionally cleaned regularly at Front Range Dental Center. The ADA recommends a dental checkup at least every six months. Schedule your appointment today:

If your teeth are feeling sensitive, your toothbrush may be to blame. While brushing is essential for oral health, using a toothbrush with overly firm bristles can do more harm than good.

Consider switching to a softer-bristled toothbrush with the ADA Seal of Acceptance. These bristles are gentler on your teeth and gums, reducing the risk of irritation and sensitivity. You should also look for a toothpaste specifically designed for sensitive teeth. If sensitivity persists, make an appointment at Front Range Dental Center: 970-673-7321
