It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our teammate, PFC Joilynne Marshall.

PFC Marshall was an integral part of the Oral Surgery Dental Clinic as well as the DENTAC team. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working with her.

We will be holding a memorial service tomorrow, 01 May 2024, at 1300hrs; located at the Main Post Chapel.

Fort Jackson DENTAC hosted ‘Week of the NCO’ from 2-4 August. 14 1SGs/SELs and 23 junior NCOs participated in several interactive events to include: LPD, a rigorous PRT, a staff ride, and a dinner social. These leadership and training events culminated in an NCO induction ceremony.
23 Soldiers from across the DHC-A raised their right hand and took the NCO Charge to confirm their obligations and responsibilities as NCOs. The Army depends on capable NCOs to perform their duties as 68E Dental Specialists, to execute mission command, and for the readiness of their Soldiers and the organization.
Sergeant Major Melissa C. Solomon, Fort Jackson Deputy Commandant of the US Army Drill Sergeant Academy, was guest speaker. SGM Solomon emphasized the importance of People First and reinforced the principals of NCO Creed with the newly inducted NCOs.
Sergeant Major Morris and I are thankful for, and very proud of these leaders!

It's been a very busy time for Dental Health Command -Atlantic. Recently, we conducted two changes of command within two days. We celebrate the accomplishments of COL Tony Quiroa at Ft
Jackson and COL Russ Methvin at Ft. Liberty. Thank you for your leadership and your efforts. We welcome COL Susan Cebula at Ft. Jackson and COL JR Cobb at Ft. Liberty. I'm fortunate to have served with these leaders, excited to see their future success!
