Help us celebrate 4 years with Callie! 🎉

We can hardly believe it’s already been four years! We’ve loved having her as part of the Eby Family Dental team and getting to watch her grow over the years. She started with us as a dental assistant and has now made the transition to becoming one of our hygienists! 🦷 It’s been so special getting to watch her grow in her career and we’re excited to have her continue to be part of the Eby team.

When should your child first visit the dentist?

We recommend that children have their first dental visit by their first birthday, or within 6 months of their first tooth coming in.

You might be wondering, “Why so early? They barely have any teeth!”

Early visits allow us to:
- Check your child’s developing teeth and mouth
- Look for early signs of tooth decay
- Discuss fluoride and brushing
- Talk about nutrition and habits that affect their teeth
- Help your child become comfortable with visiting the dentist

And remember — baby teeth are important! They help children chew, speak, and hold space for their permanent teeth.

Starting dental visits early can help your child build a positive relationship with the dentist and establish healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
