Sometimes, saving a natural tooth isn’t possible, and removing it is the best way to protect your overall oral health. A tooth extraction may be recommended for several reasons, including severe decay, infection, significant damage, or as part of an orthodontic treatment plan.

Every situation is different. We evaluate each patient carefully to determine whether an extraction is necessary and discusses what to expect before, during, and after treatment.

Have questions about a tooth that’s been causing problems? We’re here to help.
