This month, the Canyon Ridge Dentistry team had the privilege of serving at the Bonham Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) event.

It was a meaningful opportunity to provide much-needed care to individuals in need—including extractions, fillings, and partial dentures—alongside an incredible group of volunteers and dental professionals.

We are grateful to TMOM for organizing such an impactful event and to the patients who entrusted us with their care. Serving our broader Texas community in this way is something we truly value, and we look forward to being involved again in the future.

At Canyon Ridge Dentistry, we’re thrilled to welcome our new associate, Dr. Jairus Burpo!

Driven by an early ambition to settle in Texas, Dr. Burpo completed his undergraduate education at the University of Arkansas before earning his dental degree in St. Louis, Missouri. As a general dentist dedicated to providing tailored treatment with integrity, he believes in honest care and only recommending treatments that patients truly need.

Outside the office, Dr. Burpo enjoys playing racquetball, hiking, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and giving back to our community by volunteering with Lubbock Impact, Texas Mission of Mercy, and Open Door. He also values quality time with his wife, Marissa.

We’re confident that his passion for patient care and commitment to excellence will be a great asset to our dental family. Please join us in welcoming him to Canyon Ridge Dentistry!

Meet Dr. Summer Ketron Roark, D.D.S., FAGD!

Dr. Summer Ketron has proudly served the Floydada community for the past five years, providing compassionate and high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Her dedication to building lasting relationships and promoting oral health has made her a trusted part of the community.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health School of Dentistry in Houston. She then completed a general practice residency at LSU, where she received advanced training in IV sedation and oral surgery. Her commitment to continuing education led her to earn a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry—an achievement held by less than 6% of dentists nationwide.

In addition to leading a thriving dental practice, Dr. Ketron is passionate about serving her community. She regularly volunteers with the Texas Mission of Mercy and Lubbock Impact, providing free dental care to those in need. She has also held leadership roles in organized dentistry, including serving as Vice President of the Texas Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Ketron enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, stepson Luke, and their three beloved fur babies—Nox, Haize, and Talullah. You’ll often find her on the patio tending to her plants or soaking up the sunshine with her favorite people.

Alongside Dr. Jairus Burpo, we’re here to offer dentistry that’s personal, down-to-earth, and truly centered on you.
