Did you know that how often you snack can be just as important as what you're snacking on?

Every time you eat foods containing sugars or starches, bacteria in your mouth can produce acids that attack your tooth enamel. Frequent snacking means your teeth are exposed to those acids more often throughout the day!

🍎 The takeaway? Give your teeth a break between snacks, choose tooth-friendly options, and drink plenty of water throughout the day!

Would you be willing to fill a shoebox that will be gifted to a child who has never been told about our Savior, Jesus Christ? One shoebox is one opportunity to spread the Gospel, and we would be so grateful for your help!

📦 Shoebox pickup begins October 5, 2026 at Belle Meade Dental and Implant Center. Stop by our office to pick up a standard-size shoebox to pack for a boy or girl.

When packing your box:

🎁 Choose a quality “WOW” item such as a doll, soccer ball with pump, or stuffed animal.

🪥 Pack it FULL with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies.

🙏 Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift. Also, include a personal note and photo to delight the heart of the child.

💵 Include a $10 donation per box, which is critical to help cover shipping and other project costs.

📦 Return your filled shoebox to Belle Meade Dental and Implant Center by November 5, 2026.

Did you know brushing immediately after something acidic can actually be harder on your enamel?

After coffee, soda, citrus, or other acidic foods and drinks, give your teeth a little time to recover. Wait about 60 minutes before brushing to allow your saliva to help neutralize the acids and your enamel to reharden.

💧 Need to freshen up sooner? Rinse with water instead!
