Thank you to everyone who joined us for Beyond the Medical History with Samantha Cobb, RDH, RDA.

Samantha walked us through managing medically complex patients, from spotting red flags on a health history to how medications like blood thinners can affect treatment. She even surprised a few lucky guests with a giveaway!

Thank you to everyone who joined Dr. Lico Castillo at the DFW Oral Surgeons Study Club in Lantana last night! ⭐️

Dr. Castillo gave a practical look at today’s dental prescribing and patient risk management, including antibiotic guidelines, opioid sparing pain protocols, and how to safely treat patients on blood thinners and GLP1 medications. We loved the great questions and conversation, and we’re grateful to have you all as part of our community.

We’re celebrating big news, Denton County! 🏆

DFW Oral Surgeons has been voted #1 Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center for 2026! We can’t thank our patients, referring offices, and community enough for this incredible honor.

None of this happens without the people behind the scenes every single day. Our board-certified surgeons, Dr. John Shillingburg, Dr. Lico Castillo, and Dr. Mark Lim, lead a team truly committed to patient-first care, and it shows in the reviews and relationships we’ve built over the years.

We want to take a moment to appreciate every part of what makes this practice run: our dental assistants who keep patients comfortable and cared for, our sterile technicians keeping everything safe behind the scenes, our registered nurse who goes above and beyond in post-op care, our treatment and scheduling coordinators who guide patients every step of the way, our practice administrator keeping operations running smoothly, and our practice relations ambassador building the relationships that bring patients through our doors.
