When should your child’s teeth appear? Every child develops at a slightly different pace, but here is the typical progression:

👶 Around 6 months: The first baby teeth usually begin to appear.

🧒 Around age 3: Most children have all 20 primary teeth.

😁 Around age 6: Baby teeth begin falling out as permanent teeth start coming in.

🦷 Through the teenage years: Most permanent teeth continue to erupt.

Are you flossing correctly? 🦷

Follow these simple steps:
Use about 18 inches of floss and wind most of it around your middle fingers.
Gently guide the floss between your teeth.
Curve it into a “C” shape against one tooth.
Slide it gently beneath the gumline and move it up and down.
Repeat on both sides of every tooth using a clean section of floss.

Flossing once a day helps remove plaque and food from areas your toothbrush cannot reach.
