📰 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 📰

The deadly assaults on New York and Washington that took the lives of almost 𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 people took place September 11, 2001. It shook this nation to its core. We doubted our nation's security. We reacted at first with shock and insurmountable grief – then, with outrage and determination to bring those who orchestrated the attacks to justice. It seemed everyone had found a new sense of American pride. Strangers became neighbors and American flags flew high. We said we would "𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙏".

It is 25 years later. Have we forgotten? Or - do we still have that American pride and sense of community? Skyland Prosthetics & Orthotics is proud to say, 𝓦𝓔 𝓡𝓔𝓜𝓔𝓜𝓑𝓔𝓡. We are grateful to all the men and women who put their lives on the line that day to save people they never knew. Those in New York and Washington - And those in Pennsylvania. #9/11

Skyland Prosthetics is proud to honor the co-founder and matriarch of our company, Pippa, with a beautiful memorial bench and a new Dogwood sapling in a quiet yet visible area of Bill Moore Park in Fletcher, NC.

🌸 Pippa loved Dogwood trees and the beauty of nature, so it seemed only fitting that her son and owner of Skyland Prosthetics, Shaun Dolen, honor her memory in this special way.

🌞 We invite you to visit the bench, sit for a while, and simply take a breath. Watch your child play, read a book, work a crossword puzzle, or enjoy the peacefulness of nature.

🌿 May this be a place where others can pause, reflect, and enjoy the simple beauty of nature that Pippa loved so much.
