Hello to all of our valued patients, staff, business partners and specialists. We are pleased to announce that Fenton Family Dentistry will reopen June 1, 2020 by appointment. Our team will be reaching out to both previously scheduled appointments and the 150+ emergency calls Dr. Paxton has fielded by teledentistry and by phone.

We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to not only follow the recommendations of the CDC, WHO, ADA and MDA but to surpass them as an over abundance of caution as safety is paramount.

As a note, the patient experience may seem a little different. This will include but not limited to:

• Health-screening prior to your appointment / verbal
• Calling us when you arrive - we will come get you
• Your temperature will be checked
• Mask/face-coverings are mandatory

The final procedural rules of the patient experience will be made available on our website as well as on our page: www.fentonfamilydentists.com by May 31, 2020.

We here at Fenton Family Dentistry are thinking about all of our first line responders. To support them, we have donated any extra masks and gloves we had to local hospitals and assisted living facilities, including nursing homes. We are all in this together, and we need to support those that are working tirelessly to help us! The doctors, nurses and all of the frontline professionals need this material - now. If you have items such as exam/nitrile gloves and especially masks please consider giving them to your local medical providers especially hospitals.

A lot going on in our world, as you know. Last weekend, Dr. Paxton made the correct decision to shut down the office for the time time being. We understand that this is an inconvenience for a lot of people. We will reopen as soon as it is safe for patients, society, staff and when there is not a dire need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE: masks, gloves) for the front line HEROES (doctors, orderlies, nurses, cleaning staff, chefs, reception, etc.) in hospitals, local clinics and Emergency Rooms.

We look forward to seeing our patients and staff soon. Take care of yourself. Take care of your family. Take care of your neighbor. We will get through this. Do you listen to your experts at Fenton Family Dentistry? You know, the advice your hygienist and doctor give when they provide nuggets of information concerning your oral health? Now is the time to listen to the experts concerning the next steps we all must take together. Listen. Please.

Wash your hands, brush your teeth, floss and then call your friend. Play a board game with your kids. Hug your spouse. Knit a sweater. Be kind.
