We hung out with some Mouth Monsters at in Las Vegas this weekend.
They crashed the welcome reception and now the Las Vegas Strip. With sweeping skyline vistas, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere, the team and I have enjoyed this place to unwind mid-year

We are away but thank you to all our heroes
Dental emergencies happen — especially this weekend

If your child knocks out a BABY tooth:
· Do NOT replant it — it can damage the adult tooth underneath
· Apply gentle pressure if there's bleeding
· Call 911 or head to a hospital

If your child knocks out a PERMANENT tooth:
· Pick it up by the crown (not the root)
· Rinse gently — do NOT scrub
· Keep it moist — in milk or inside the cheek

Cavities are incredibly common in children. They can happen even when parents are doing everything right. Genetics, the shape of teeth, timing — so many factors are at play.

Most kids grow out of it. But in some cases, it can cause worn enamel, jaw pain, headaches, and tooth sensitivity.

If you hear grinding at night or your child wakes up with a sore jaw, mention it at your next visit with Dr. Becker. We can assess whether any intervention is needed.

At Kids on 1st, Dr. Becker uses a technique called 'Tell, Show, Do' — narrating everything before doing it, showing tools, and letting the child set the pace.

Anxiety doesn't disappear overnight. But trust builds visit by visit.
