Dr. Mark Pike, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. He earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, in 1991. Dr. Pike joined an established practice as a partner then purchased that practice in 1997. In 2001, in an effort to provide his patients with a state-of-the-art dental practice, he designed and built his own office wh

ere he now practices with his stellar staff. Committed to remaining on the cutting edge of his profession, Dr. Pike has completed advanced cosmetic educational courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies that few other dentists have completed. Almost anything that can be imagined can be done today in Cosmetic Dentistry, but there are few dentists that have the experience and training. Dr. Pike is one of those few! Dr. Pike is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and North Carolina Dental Association. Office Manager Valorie Nance has been with the Riccobene team for almost 17yrs! Valorie said her dad always said “whatever job you choose to do, be the best at it.” She certainly lives out his advice and we have been so fortunate to work beside her for so many years!

Valorie remembers when she was first interviewed by Dr. Riccobene in 2005. "He asked me if I could fill the schedule, and he trusted me on my word and hired me. His confidence and trust in me over the years, has made me the manager I am today. He has taught me over the years to treat people how you want to be treated. Happy staff, happy patients, happy work environment. Dr. Riccobene was opening his 3rd office when I started with him. To see some of the growth, changes , and challenges that he’s gone through in his life as a business owner over the years all while never changing his philosophy….”always do what’s best for the patient." Lorri Detrick joined the Riccobene team last Fall as Chief Operations Officer. Lorri leads by example and has a strong focus on building relationships with everyone in the organization and at every Riccobene and Brush & Floss office! She normally arrives at the office before 6a every day. She loves those first 2-3hrs she spends quietly working on important projects and initiatives before it's 'off to the races' with daily meetings and check-ins.

When asked about the most rewarding part of her job, Lorri said, "It's developing relationships. Throughout my career, the foundation of my roles has been to develop strong relationships with people throughout the organizations where I’ve worked. It takes time and commitment to build good relationships in which people can trust each other. But without this investment, and without these relationships, work can feel meaningless. I have found that when I genuinely care about those I work with and for, I do my job better and experience more fulfillment at work."

Candice Messer's warm personality, sense of humor, helpful spirit, and 'whatever it takes' attitude make her a joy to work with! Candice has been with Riccobene for over 11yrs and currently serves as a Regional Manager.

In the true spirit of supporting, empowering, and encouraging the other people we work with, Candice says Brooke Gerrell(Director of Operations) has had such a positive influence on her career. "We have worked together for many years and I have to say that she has helped me grow so much in my career. Her positive outlook and support has and continues to help me through each day."
