Our fifth birthday came and went unceremoniously yesterday! The day itself was overshadowed by the first day of school, excitement for our kiddos, and the hustle and bustle that the end of summer brings.

Katie, our OG front desk gal who now moonlights as our billing and insurance backup (secondary to her thriving art career) showed up today with a mini cake complete with a 5 sparkler. ✨ What a sweet surprise!

More than anything, I am thankful for the people that have come through these doors over the last five years. So much love, so many memories, and so many wonderful people. We’ve said hello and goodbye, shared hugs, shared tears, and swapped more stories and prayers than I can count. Oh, if these walls could talk!

Today I’m so thankful. Thankful for our patients that allow us to care for them in tangible and intangible ways. Thankful for all of the staff members past and present that have helped make this a success and safe place for our patients. Thankful for all of the friends and colleagues that have been my sounding boards. Thankful for my family who often gets the leftover bits of me and continues to love me anyway.

The first five years was a dream! It wasn’t always smooth, and none of it was easy, but we are building something special in our little corner of Fayetteville!
