Hailing from the country with tall mountains and birthplace of Lord Buddha, Nepal, Dr. Gurung moved to the United States in 2011, with the dreams and aspirations to grow further and broaden his horizons. Dr. Gurung has served marginalized and underserved population in his home country for nearly 2 years, before his big move. Dr. Gurung decided to complete his formal dental education here in the St

ates and attended University of Illinois at Chicago. After he was awarded DMD degree from his Alma mater in 2016, he decided to put his roots down here in North Carolina, in search of better opportunities and warmer weather. Apart from the bread and butter of General dentistry, Dr. Gurung holds a keen interest in Cosmetic dentistry and Implant dentistry. In pursuit of clinical excellence and to better himself, Dr. Gurung has succesfully completed hundreds of hours of Continuing Dental Education courses, including a Rigorous Comprehensive course in Implant dentistry at Augusta University, backed by the prestigious AAID and Full Mouth Rehabilitation course at the Nash Institute. He is looking forward to serving the Fayetteville and neighboring areas backed with years of expertise in general dentistry and life experiences, forming a long-term relationship with the community and its people. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, hanging out with his niece and nephew, go out hiking, travel and trying new restaurants.

It’s never too late for a fresh start. This was a Full Mouth Rehabilitation case achieved with a FP1 restoration for Maxillary arch and 5 Single teeth implants to restore missing Mandibular posterior teeth, on a patient who had wanted her smile fixed for over 20 years, but was afraid to because of past dental trauma.

This case was a huge success not only bc we were able to restore her smile that she had always wanted, but more importantly because we were able to heal her past dental trauma and make her feel better about herself & look forward to seeing us now.
It’s a huge honor to gain someone’s trust.
