Important Security Alert from Drs. Bonasso & Kime
We have become aware that a spammer is currently "spoofing" our email address. This means they are forging our practice name onto fake emails to make them look like they came from us.
• Your Data is Safe: Our internal computer networks, patient portal, and electronic health records have not been hacked. Your personal health and financial information remains completely secure.
• What to look out for: If you receive an unexpected email from us containing weird links, promotions, or attachments, do not click them.
• How to verify: Legitimate communications from us regarding your appointments will typically happen via text message. We have disabled email reminders for now to avoid confusion on opening emails from our address.
If you are ever unsure about an email, please call our front desk directly at 304-366-9833 before interacting with it.
We are actively implementing technical measures to force external email providers to block these fake messages. Thank you for your patience and vigilance!
