⭐ “WHY AGE 7?” WEDNESDAY ⭐
At Harvey and Thomas Orthodontics, we believe every smile has its own journey.
Sometimes early interceptive treatment, also known as Phase 1 treatment, can make a huge difference in a child’s long-term smile and overall oral development. While not every child will need Phase 1 treatment, our board-certified orthodontists carefully evaluate each patient to determine the best timing and approach for their specific needs.
Some reasons early treatment may be recommended include:
• Growth alone will not correct the issue
• The problem could become more severe if left untreated
• Early correction can help make future comprehensive treatment (Phase 2) easier, more effective, and more efficient later on
If your child is not ready for treatment yet, that is completely okay too! We offer observation visits every 6 months to monitor the growth and development of the teeth and jaw until the timing is right.
