Sensitive teeth? Don’t just ignore it! 🧊☕️

If hot, cold, sweet, or acidic foods make your teeth zing, sensitivity can sometimes be caused by worn enamel, gum recession, cavities, grinding, or other dental concerns.

A few things that may help:

🪥 Use a soft-bristled toothbrush
🦷 Try a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth
🥤 Limit frequent acidic drinks
😬 Avoid brushing too aggressively
📞 Let your dentist know if the sensitivity is new, worsening, or doesn’t go away

Tooth sensitivity is common, but it’s still worth mentioning so we can help figure out what’s causing it.

🦷 An Exciting Milestone for Our Office! 🎉

Today, Dr. Mike successfully placed his first dental implant right here in our office!

This is the first step in the implant process. The implant will now be given time to heal and integrate before the final restoration is completed.

We’re also incredibly thankful to our patient for placing their trust in Dr. Mike and our team for this important step in their care. 💙

We’re excited to continue expanding the services we can provide and to offer even more options for restoring smiles and function—all in a familiar place with a team you know and trust.

Do your gums bleed when you brush or floss? 🪥

Occasional irritation can happen, but gums that bleed regularly can be a sign of inflammation or early gum disease.

A few things that can help:

🪥 Brush gently twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush
🧵 Floss daily — even if your gums bleed at first
🦷 Keep up with your routine dental cleanings
📞 Let us know if bleeding, swelling, or tenderness continues

Did you know dry mouth can increase your risk for cavities?

Saliva helps protect your teeth by washing away food particles and neutralizing acids in your mouth. When you don’t produce enough saliva, your teeth can be more vulnerable to decay.

💧 Sip water throughout the day
🪥 Keep up with brushing and flossing
🍬 Try sugar-free gum to help stimulate saliva
🦷 Let us know if dry mouth is something you experience regularly

Sometimes medications, dehydration, and other factors can contribute to dry mouth — so it’s definitely worth mentioning at your next dental visit!

🦷 Exciting News for Our Practice! 🦷

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to our office—our new DEXIS OP 3D imaging system!

This advanced technology allows us to capture detailed 2D and 3D images of the teeth, jaw, bone, and surrounding structures. These images can provide Dr. Mike with additional information when evaluating certain dental concerns and planning treatments such as dental implants, root canal therapy, and other procedures.

By bringing this technology directly into our office, we can provide more comprehensive care and, when a 3D scan is clinically appropriate, reduce the need for patients to travel elsewhere for imaging.

We are always looking for ways to invest in technology that helps us provide our patients with comfortable, convenient, and high-quality dental care. We cannot wait for you to see our newest upgrade!
