My patient here is a huge outdoorsman who lived most of his life with chipped front teeth. When we started talking about fixing his two front teeth, he needed a solution that was tough enough to handle his active lifestyle but still looked completely natural.

We ended up doing custom PFZ, or porcelain fused to zirconia, crowns. They give him the perfect mix of durability and that natural enamel look so they blend right in. He told me he is still doing a double-take every time he looks in the mirror, but I think the new smile suits him perfectly.

Her goal was simple: replace her broken front tooth in as few appointments as possible—and avoid anything removable.

With careful planning and the support of her family, I was able to remove the remaining root, place a fully guided implant, and give her a stable temporary tooth that same day. Because having a front tooth isn’t just about appearance—it can make such a difference in how we smile, speak, and feel like ourselves. 🤍

This case involved recontouring the gums and bone around the teeth in order to create a more balanced and natural look. Also known as a “cosmetic crown lengthening” procedure. She had some moderate to severe wear before starting, and with the final crowns and veneers we were able to regain some length that she had lost.

Always ending with a custom occlusal guard to protect the teeth at night.
