As you may know, after practicing dentistry for 56 years in Evergreen, Dr. Powell has retired from dentistry. My name is Dr. Alex Roberts and I am the dentist that Dr. Powell has chosen to carry on the legacy of his practice. I had the pleasure of meeting many welcoming patients at Dr. Powell’s retirement party and I am eager to build more relationships with those of you I have not met. In some ca

ses, Dr. Powell has treated generations of your family and I am excited to carry on his tradition. I am a Colorado native that grew up in Kansas, attended Kansas State University, and went to dental school in Kansas City. I have been practicing dentistry for nine years now and have been back home in Colorado for six. I believe in providing comprehensive and quality family and cosmetic dental care in a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing environment. During the practice transition, the office will be closed until late summer as we expand the existing space. The address and phone number for the office will remain the same. I would like to extend my personal thanks to Dr. Powell for trusting his practice to me and know that he will miss seeing you all on a regular basis. From spending time with Dr. Powell over the last few weeks, I have learned what is and has always been important to him; enjoying time with and taking good care of his patients. I look forward to doing the same and hope to see you around the community or in the new office soon. Sincerely,

FYI road construction on Highway 73 has been delayed until next week (nov 20/21)... see details below...

Utility Relocations and Site Preparation
Xcel will install the underground electrical line from Buffalo Park Road to Little Cub Creek Road. Xcel previously installed the underground conduit and will pull the electrical line through the conduit. Jefferson County delayed the start of work one week, so it will occur when schools are not in session during Thanksgiving Break. Scheduled work within the roadway will occur during the day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on November 20 through 21. The revised schedule will allow Xcel to provide additional crews to improve efficiency during the installation. There will be a lane closure with alternating flagged traffic. The county will monitor the effectiveness of Xcel’s construction traffic management to ensure flow of traffic. However, due to the high volume of traffic along this section of Highway 73, the public should anticipate delays.
